The Richard Mille RM 61-01 was developed for Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake, drawing on the design of the RM 59-01 tourbillon created for the Olympic medallist.
Design & Construction
The bezel and case back are built from TZP-N ceramic, an ultra-hard, low-density material, paired with a caseband in NTPT carbon. Large crown protectors guard against impact during sport, and the case shape is designed to keep the crown clear of the wrist during use.
Dial & Features
The skeletonized movement features green flying bridges, anodized and hand-painted, referencing Yohan Blake’s Jamaican homeland and his nickname “The Beast.”
