Product Overview
The Richard Mille RM 27-05 Flying Tourbillon Rafael Nadal was developed with the tennis champion as the culmination of the RM 027 tourbillon lineage that began in 2010.
Design & Construction
The case is machined from Carbon TPT B.4, a proprietary composite exclusive to Richard Mille, in a monobloc construction where the caseband and back are milled from a single piece for extreme rigidity. The complete watch weighs approximately 11.5 grams excluding the strap.
Dial & Features
The skeletonized dial exposes the flying tourbillon and movement architecture, secured within the case by fine machining tolerances rather than screws.
Movement
Manual-winding flying tourbillon movement (Calibre RMUP-01) beating at 3Hz, validated to withstand shocks in excess of 14,000 g, setting records for both lightness and shock resistance in a manual-winding tourbillon.
