Product Overview
The Richard Mille RM 055 Bubba Watson was developed in close collaboration with professional golfer Bubba Watson, following on from the earlier RM 038 Bubba Watson tourbillon.
Design & Construction
The case combines grade 5 titanium with an ATZ (aluminum oxide) ceramic bezel, a material valued for high scratch resistance and rigidity, injected at high pressure to reduce porosity. Depending on the edition, cases have also been offered in ceramic and NTPT carbon.
Dial & Features
The skeletonized dial exposes the movement’s baseplate and bridges, which are PVD- and Titalyt-treated grade 5 titanium for rigidity and a consistent finish.
Movement
Manual-winding movement (Calibre RMUL2) with an approximate 55-hour power reserve, engineered for high shock resistance to suit the demands of an active sport.
